Doctor Grosdidier does, he works over at the school for the blind. He donates his time over there. Then, we as a office, do work for Kansas Mission of Mercy. That’s put on by the state of Kansas. We go to different communities throughout the state and spend two to three days doing extractions, fillings, cleanings, sealants. That’s for anyone at any of these locations. It’s usually twice a year. Usually in January, February, sometimes in the summer time. Those are great. They’re a lot of work. 12, 14 hours a day but they’re well worth it.
We participate in the local chamber of commerce and attend local health fairs to help give people the dental care they need. Our involvement is not limited to Leawood, however. Our dentists have gone on mission trips and provided dental services to patients in countries including Guatemala, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. From participating in a Business as Mission trip (operated by Ultra Modern Dental Group) in Puebla, Mexico, to Dr. Jarrett Grosdidier’s opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic with the Global Orphan Project and perform dental procedures for orphans in Santo Domingo, our team is eager to contribute our skills for those that most need them.
