Doctor Grosdidier does, he works over at the school for the blind. He donates his time over there. Then, we as a office, do work for Kansas Mission of Mercy. That’s put on by the state of Kansas. We go to different communities throughout the state and spend two to three days doing extractions, fillings, cleanings, sealants. That’s for anyone at any of these locations. It’s usually twice a year. Usually in January, February, sometimes in the summer time. Those are great. They’re a lot of work. 12, 14 hours a day but they’re well worth it.
We also participate in the local chamber of commerce and attend local health fairs to help give people the dental care they need. Our involvement is not just limited to Leawood, however. Our dentists have gone on missions trips including one to Guatemala. We also participated in the Business as Mission trip (operated by Ultra Modern Dental Group) in Puebla, Mexico.
